Metro theme is beautiful, however, when holding down right or left on the remote and scrolling through a couple pages of recorded content, all the artwork disappears. The moment I stop fast-scrolling (let go of left or right), the icons/artwork reappear. Basically, I have to tap right or left to go through my recorded content, because if I hold it down, I can no longer see where I am.
P.S. I do not have this issue with any other themes.
The scrolling issue that I've been seeing on the Metro theme is best described as a blur, occurring across the names of the videos in the top row and across the tops of the episode images in the middle row. But I assumed it was the older video card that I added to my PC to fix the 29/59 frame issue. Is anyone else seeing this?
By the way, any idea when the next beta release will be? It sounds like it has a lot of great fixes in it.
Thanks for keep RecordedTV HD fresh with new features like this. It's one of my favorite addins.
Now if Microsoft just provided built-in widgets in Media Center and overlaying on them (or overlaying on any screen), we could have a snappier commercial break viewer that didn't need to handle button presses! But that's a different topic.
I figured out that this problem was happening outside of RecordedTV HD on some other menus. I have a pretty fast machine (SSD, intel 3770k, gtx 680), yet I still think at the default key repeat speed, the computer wasn't able (or didn't try) to render the images.
FIX: Go into the Keyboard control panel and lower the key repeat rate to around half. My rate was set to max, which I believe is the default. It works great at half and I don't normally key repeat, but if I do, it's still fast enough.
